WRRV Artist Plays Surprise Show In Brooklyn, Shows Off New Album

There is a plethora of small, intimate venues in NYC. There is a shortage of big time bands that will drop by one of them for a show to a capacity crowd of about 400.

Cage The Elephant is NOT one of those bands that will avoid such places.

According to Consequence of Sound, CTE played something of a surprise show at The Box (which also has a burlesque show in house) and decided to preview their upcoming album Tell Me I'm Pretty.

The thing about their new album is that it's produced by Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys. This can either be totally awesome, I just hope it doesn't mean we're losing CTE's own individual personality.

Here's a little teaser that Cage The Elephant put together for their new album. In case, ya know, you weren't one of the 400 at their show in NYC. The new album drops December 18th.
