WRRV Christmas Playlist: Jimmy Eat World – Last Christmas

Jimmy Eat World is kind of perfect for a quiet, holiday song. Their best stuff is already pretty emotional, they're awesome when they're introspective, and a lot of their albums can be fantastically enjoyed if you're all lubed up on egg nog and rum, near a fire.

There's a certain quality to Jimmy Eat World that lends itself perfectly to a Christmas holiday. I can't describe it precisely, but there's a certain gravity that they carry themselves with.

Released over a decade ago in 2004, I'm betting you didn't even know this version of the song exists. Well it does. You should buy it.
