WRRV Has An App: Here’s a Quick Look

WRRV has launched a new app and you can be one of the first to download it. The app is available in the Apple iOS or Google Play stores (for free).

This is a great way for you to listen to WRRV live. Ok, that's not the only reason that you should download it. Seriously, there are a few more really solid reasons all of which could make your day more special and complete. Ok, I can't guarantee you that your day will be special, but WRRV will get all warm and fuzzy knowing that we have a special place on your phone.

Here are just a few other things that you can do with the app to personalize YOUR WRRV:

• You can sign up for news and weather alerts
• Check out WRRV videos, including ones from WRRV Sessions events
• Submit photos/videos to the studios
• Make a request
• Get directions to the WRRV Studios to pick up your prize.
• Get the latest weather forecast including a look ahead at the next 5 days.
• You can also save articles to read later or share them to Facebook and twitter
• And as soon as this part is up and running, you can sign up for contest alerts so you won't miss a chance to call in and win.

Over the course of the next few weeks we will be updating it slightly to make it even better for you to use. Feel free to send us feedback on what you think we are missing on it. To submit those idea, use the Send APP Feedback at the bottom of the app menu.
