WRRV Holiday Playlist: Bowling For Soup – All I Want For Christmas Is You

They're goofy, they really don't care about your opinion of them, and they did the theme song for "Phineas and Ferb". For those 3 reasons, Bowling For Soup are awesome. But I figured I'd give you one more.

Bowling For Soup have 2 Christmas albums, with the second being slightly more goofy. They had a pseudo freak out holiday song that I remember got a tiny bit of radio play. But their first album is far superior.

They cover a ton of Christmas song staples, and they KILLED it with "All I Want For Christmas". Everyone knows this song from "Love Actually", but BFS totally own it on an entirely separate level. Sometimes holiday music can be a bit maudlin and drag. BFS will have nothing of it. And they did it right.
