WRRV New Music Discovery: Kurt Vile

We take a look at a much buzzed about artist by the name of Kurt Vile. Born in Philadelphia, Kurt hit the scene in 2005 as a founding member of the band The War On Drugs. He left the group in 2008 to focus on a solo career and released his debut album 'Constant Hitmaker'.

Fast forward to 2015, Vile released his sixth studio album called 'b'lieve i'm goin down...' on Matador records. Pretty Pimpin' kicks off the album in style.

He is backed by his band 'The Violators. They'll be in New Haven, CT on February 17th at College Street Music Hall followed by a run up and down the eastern seaboard. Vile will take the show to Europe and make an appearance at Bonnaroo as well.
