WRRV Spirit Society Enjoys Cocktails in Clermont

Did you get your membership card? At this last weekend's WRRV Spirit Society meeting there was the debut of two new things for Spirit Society members. The new membership card and the brand new, just released, Chancellors Malt Whiskey from Hudson Valley Distillers.

During the afternoon, WRRV Spirit Society members were treated to live music and samples of three craft cocktails, prepared with Hudson Valley Distillers vodka, gin and applejack.

The Nonnie Rose, which is a take on the Jack Rose cocktail, featuring the HVD Fine Shine Applejack. A traditional gin and tonic, using their gin and lastly a Cucumber Mint Mojito, featuring their vodka. The real treat of the day? Getting to be among the first to try HV Distillers newest release, their Chancellors Malt Whiskey. Aged for about one year in wood barrels, this was a unique creation featuring a beer from Chatham Brewing.
