WRRV Welcomes Barns Courtney To WRRV Sessions

Our next WRRV Sessions artist will be joining us all the way from England. This Friday, November 10th, WRRV presents Barns Courtney live from Newburgh Brewing Company.

Courtney was born in England but moved to Seattle when he was very young. In his mid-teens he moved back to the UK where he went on to front the band Sleepercell. At one point he got dropped by his record label and bounced around for a bit, all the while focused on launching a career in the music business.

Fast forward to 2015, after receiving airplay in England, his song 'Fire' was selected to be in the Bradley Cooper movie, Burnt. Here he is performing it in the WRRV studio a while back.

On September 27th, Barns releases his debut full length album called The Attractions Of Youth featuring the new song 'Golden Dandelions'.

All WRRV Sessions performances are free but we do ask that you support our friends at the brewery by ordering something delicious off the menu or from the bar.
