WWE Cruiserweight Champ To Defend Title Sunday In Poughkeepsie

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore will defend his title Sunday night at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie at 205 Live! Tickets are on sale at the Civic Center website and will be available at the door. Doors open at 6 and the show starts up right at 7.

Amore called into WRRV to talk about the show and he revealed he's got a connection to Poughkeepsie you wouldn't expect. It's pianos. He used to deliver pianos in town, but he's also well schooled in terms of wrestling history at the Mid Hudson Civic Center.

The main event will see Cedric Alexander trying to take down the champ with special guest referee Nia Jax in the ring. Matt Hardy will take on Bray Wyatt in a Special Attraction match. Stars Kalisto, Hideo Itami, and many others will be on hand for 205 Live's Poughkeepsie debut.

WWE Live 205 made its debut in the fall of 2016 and features wrestlers in the cruiserweight division. This means all wrestlers weigh 205 pounds or less.
