The Hudson Valley is jumping into the Tiny House trend this July with the first Tiny House and Green Living Festival at the Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz. But if you don't want to wait until then and you love Hanna-Barbara cartoons, then boy, do I have good news for you.

Three Tiny Houses designed after Yogi Bear, Boo Boo and Cindy Bear will be available to view as an open house this Saturday at the Jellystone Park Lazy River Camp Resort in Gardiner. It's the first stop on the Jellystone Park Tiny Home RV tour which runs from May to December.

(Jellystone Park is where Yogi and his friends live in the cartoon. I know because I still watch Boomerang reruns while eating sugary cereals on my Saturday mornings.)

After the tour, the houses will be placed at one of the parks, though it's unclear which one yet. Also, I have several questions. Why doesn't Ranger Smith get a Tiny House? Is this Tiny House smarter than the average Tiny House? Do they come pre-equipped with pic-a-nic baskets?

I guess I'll have to stop by Jellystone Park on Saturday to find out. If you're there, I'll be the one wearing a green hat and tie stealing food from the park's visitors. See you there!
