You don't need a boat or wave runner to get out on the Hudson this summer.  The latest craze is Paddleboarding.  It's like surfing, but you don't ride any waves.

 

 

What happens if you get halfway across the river and you fall off?  How do you get back on and stand up on the board again?

 

 

Maybe you don't feel like paddling.  Maybe you just want to be one with the board?  Try meditation on the Hudson, like they do in Cold Spring.

 

 

This looks like is would be really cool to try out.  There are some companies that will teach you about paddleboarding or kayaking on the Hudson.  Just watch out for those 60 pound fish!
