A lot of music comes out in any given year, and it can be hard to keep track, so we are giving you a look at the most anticipated albums of 2020.

It's the start of a brand new decade, and we’re living in an era where scene influences are creeping into all genres, including mainstream Top 40 (shout out to Halsey). So we don’t really care if you don’t think Juice WRLD or Machine Gun Kelly’s music counts as scene, we are excited to hear their latest music.

From albums that are confirmed to artists that are due for a new full-length, these are Note To Scene's Most Anticipated albums of 2020.

Release Date: TBD // Last Album: Old Crows / Young Cardinals (2009)

What we know: Alexisonfire haven’t announced any intentions of making a new album, but after releasing two new songs in 2019 and one song this year, we are holding out hope for a full album. We’re also holding out hope that any new music leans more in the direction of their latest release and not the two we heard in 2019.

What we know: Based on some strange teasers ATL have posted on social media (blacking out their profiles, a video of a panda burning their Last Young Renegade jackets, a clip with the Nothing Personal and Future Hearts logos disappearing), it’s safe to assume a new era is on its way in 2020.

Release Date: TBD // Last Album: amo (2019)

Bring Me are many things: unpredictable, innovative, the current biggest band in the scene and so much more. Their last album amo came at the beginning of 2019, but they also dropped a surprise experimental EP at the end of the year with their first song over the 20 minute mark. From what we know, the band have music in the cannon. Will they fire? Hopefully.

Release Date: TBD // Last Album: Artificial Selection (2018)

DGD are one of the scene’s most unlikely survivors because they constantly churn out high-level content that their fans just eat up. This will be the band’s ninth album. Frontman Tilian Pearson has teased it multiple times on his Twitter account. It will be interesting to see where they stack up in first-week sales coming off of Artificial Selection, which gave them the biggest of their career.

What we know: Before his tragic and untimely death on Dec. 8, 2019, Chicago rapper Juice WRLD told  XXL magazine that he planned to drop the follow-up to his Death Race for Love album (released earlier that year) in the beginning of December. That never happened, but Juice did say he recorded more than 10 songs from the album and that Young Thug would be featured, so it’s likely we’ll get to hear these tracks in 2020.
