Oh, the times they are a-changin'.

There's been plenty of discussion about medical marijuana and recreational marijuana and legal marijuana and illegal marijuana--frankly, as a society, we've become somewhat weed-obsessed. Not only weed-obsessed, but more weed-tolerant too.

The Pacific Northwest has become one of the more progressive regions in the country when it comes to pot laws, and Washington state in particular has been allowing the sale of marijuana for the past year or so.

So when the PGA brought the US Open to Tacoma this week, there was a question on everyone's minds--okay, on some people's minds: Can I bring my weed into the US Open?

A writer for the site, Brian Floyd, found that the volunteers at the gates have been instructed to allow people with their legal marijuana to head right in unmolested.

However, one item you are not permitted to have: water bottles. That's right. Bring your weed, leave your water.
