slowPOK's walking hiSTORY tour of the City of Poughkeepsie includes a handful of place-based stories highlighting narratives and characters that provide a glimpse of connections between the past, present and the future we can shape together.
This tour is a Jane’s Walk, scheduled on this weekend as part of a global festival of free, volunteer-led walking conversations inspired by urban activist Jane Jacobs. Jane’s Walk encourages people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities, and use walking as a way to connect with their neighbours.
