WRRV at Adams Lawn & Garden Show in Newburgh

Adams Fairacre Farms Landscaping teams will be transforming around 6,000 square feet of their store space in Newburgh into a Spring Paradise during winter.

Their theme this year is “Dreams of the Hudson Valley”, and they invite you to step into an oasis of spring color in full bloom, where paths meander through flowers, trees, waterfalls, and stone walls, and winter’s chill melts away. Adams expert staff will be providing tips and how-to advice on everything from seed starting to vegetable gardening that include helpful tips provided by the Adams family Patriarch, Mark Adams. They will also be bringing back popular DIY areas this year and each store will be offering something different.

In Newburgh, the event will feature:

• Winter Wonderlandscape: Landscaping for Winter Interest – by Tim Bellamy, Nursery Manager
  • Tim taps into his creative expertise, helping you select trees, shrubs, and plants that will bring stunning beauty to your landscape even in winter!
• Tropical Plants Create an Outdoor Oasis – by Maureen Drury, Greenhouse Manager
  • Learn how to use tropical plants in your summer gardens, both sunny and shady, as well as tips on creating a tropical container garden for porch or patio.
  • She’ll also inspire you to create garden art from salvaged and reclaimed materials. Featuring Agrisculpture by local artist Amy Lewis Sweetman.
