A traffic stop in the Hudson Valley led to police discovering around a half million dollars’ worth of marijuana in the driver’s car.

State Police arrested 39-year-old Clinton O. Campbell, a Jamaican National from Queens following a traffic stop on Route 17 in the Town of Goshen.

Police say Campbell was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. He was also allegedly in possession of around 100 pounds of marijuana at the time of the stop.

Campbell was charged with 1st-degree criminal possession of marihuana, a class C felony. He was arraigned in the Town of Goshen Court, and remanded to Orange County jail. Campbell will reappear in the Town of Goshen Court at a later date.
