Why Is The Dutchess County Fair Saying Thank You New York
Now that the tents are all down and the rides are packed up for another year there is time to reflect on the many wonderful things that happened at this year's 178 Dutchess County Fair.
One particular deed has not gone unnoticed and it is something that the Dutchess County Fair wanted to be sure they shared with the public. We all enjoy so many things about the fair, especially the food. This could be why the Fair management made sure to spread the word about the fair food vendors' generosity this year.
Dutchess County Fair Food Vendors Raise $8000 Plus
In a press release issued earlier this week and on the fair's social media a big thank you went out to all the fair food vendors who pulled together to raise more than $8000 that will help support several organizations in the Hudson Valley.
“I don’t think people realize how much the Fair & Amusement industry folks care and give back. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by such generous people, I’d like to especially thank Vincent Nelson, of Vinnie’s Fine Foods for spearheading this project.” (Andy Imperati, President/CEO via Press Release)
During the 178th Dutchess County Fair many of the food concessionaires found the time to collect over $8000 to support and donate to several organizations and causes. The various food vendors purchased the Grand Champion Hog at the Dutchess County Youth Livestock Sale.
