Have you noticed that more and more businesses are charging "extra fees" when it comes time to pay for certain things?

If you haven't already noticed most things cost more today than they did years ago. Inflation is obviously a huge deal in most of our lives and most times I'm good with it (like I have a choice) but one thing many of us aren't ok with is the extra fees we often get charged for random and sometimes unexplained things.

Food Delivery Fees

If you've ever used one of the food delivery apps did you know that many of them charge a bunch of different "fees" to deliver food to your house? I had no idea about any of this until I recently ordered food using an app and noticed that not only did I pay a slightly higher price for the food but I also paid a service fee, a convenience fee, and a delivery charge.

On top of that, I have to tip the driver delivering the food! (No matter what I always tip!) UGH! I paid around $12 in fees on a food order that was under $50. I know I'm not alone in being frustrated with the extra fees some companies choose to charge for things like service and convenience so we asked fellow New Yorkers, what "extra fees" do some companies charge that drive you crazy?
