The Hudson Valley: A UFO Hotspot

If you didn't know, the Hudson Valley is a hotbed of extraterrestrial activity.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s there were UFO sightings and encounters so intense that local authorities were called to report the strange on-goings. These encounters have since been talked about on television shows and podcasts like Unsolved Mysteries.

The legends and tales of UFO sightings have stuck around. In 2021, Discovery + aired a documentary called "Alien Invasion: Hudson Valley." In the documentary they state that the there have been over 3,000 "extraterrestrial encounters over the last decade" in the region.

While I'm no UFO or alien expert, I think it's safe to say that if a UFO can fly over the Hudson Valley, it can most definitely swoop over New York City.

With that being said, it looks like there might have been a UFO caught on camera in NYC.

Did New York News Helicopter Catch UFO on Video?

Most local news stations have a news helicopter to catch whats going on from the skies.

Fox 5 News had a chopper over New York City earlier this week in the middle of the afternoon capturing a bit of B-roll. During their 6 pm broadcast, Fox showed a shot of the Hudson River that had the audience buzzing.

Latest Hudson Valley UFO Sighting

On November 15th, 2024 there was a possible UFO sighting in Dutchess County.

According to the report, a Salt Point New York resident was driving and witnessed a bright light in the sky. While that sounds completely normal, the light was an odd shape, stood completely still and was much bigger than your run of the mill star.
