A police department has released dashcam video showing a high-speed police chase that started at a local Walmart and ended after entering a soccer field where kids were playing soccer in Upstate New York.
A normal evening of watching kids play a soccer match took an unbelievable turn when parents and spectators got the surprise of a lifetime when the soccer match was interrupted by a high-speed police chase.

According to the Bethlehem Police Department (BPD), it all started on Tuesday at 6 p.m. when officers were dispatched to a reported larceny in progress at the Walmart store on Route 9W in Glenmont, NY.
Upon arrival, officers reported seeing three suspects leaving the parking lot in a blue Ford Escape SUV, and when they attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled south on Route 9W at a high speed, according to WTEN.
BPD proceeded to chase the suspects onto a nearby road, when the vehicle reportedly left the roadway, went down an embankment, and onto soccer fields that had children playing. Once the vehicle came to a stop, the three suspects allegedly ran into a nearby wooded area but were all taken into custody shortly thereafter.
A witness at the fields told News10 that when the car drove onto the field where the kids were playing, everyone began to flee, "It was definitely that moment of fear because we know this area, these are the fields that we play on all the time." Another witness said that when the chase entered the field area, all the kids and adults started running away towards the pavilion.
