Stewart's Shops Adds New Ice Cream Flavor to Their Permanent List

Sure we're heading into the dead of winter, but ice cream never goes out of style. I've said it before and I'll say it again...ice cream is not a seasonal treat!

I digress.

With all of that being said, there's a new permanent ice cream flavor at the cone counter at Stewart's Shops.

Stewart's Shops Home to Award Winning Ice Cream

If you live in the Hudson Valley or Upstate New York, chances are you've stopped at a Stewart's Shop for either gas or a little pick me up treat. Fun fact, Stewart's Shop is home to award winning ice cream.

Over the last 2 years, Stewart's has taken home top prizes at The World Dairy Expo and several of their ice cream flavors came out on top. In 2023, Death by Chocolate and Mango Dragonfruit Sherbet took home first place in their ice cream categories.

On a related note, Stewart's Eggnog also won first place in the Open Class Flavored Milk category scoring a 99.8. An almost perfect score. Needless to say, when it comes to dairy products like ice cream, Stewart's Shops know what they're doing.

Introduce New Permanent Ice Cream Flavor in 2024

The Cone Counter at Stewart's Shop is expanding in 2024 with the addition of a new permanent flavor. Earlier this week Stewart's announced the addition of Salted Caramel Cheesecake.

They write: "Nothing to be salty about here! Salted Caramel Cheesecake is officially our newest PERMANENT flavor at the ice cream counter!"

If you had a New Year Resolution to leave the sweets in 2023, you may want to rethink that. Or take a cheat day at your local Stewart's shop.

Bringing Back an Old Favorite at the Stewart's Cone Counter

But wait! There's more Stewart's Ice Cream news in 2024. According to a press release, Stewart's Shops are bringing back the Civility ice cream flavor. Civility is a sweet combination of vanilla ice cream with swirls of salty caramel.

Caramel seems to be a trend in 2024.

Stewart's Shops President Gary Dake said in the press release:

“We see this as an opportunity to ask everyone to take a moment to enjoy the sweeter things in life. We hope it’s a reminder that we may think differently but we still can respect each other and maybe even share an extra scoop or a smile.”

Unlike the latest permanent fixture at the cone counter, Civility ice cream will be available for a limited time only.
