‘Captivating’ One Of A Kind Circus Acts Coming To The Hudson Valley

Summer is my favorite season. It brings warm, sunny days with the return of outdoor, fun activities and events.

Hudson Valley residents can visit farmers markets, fairs, festivals, outdoor music series and more.  At times, we may notice that different circus acts may be in the Hudson Valley for a limited time.

Local residents can get excited about a circus that will be making its way through the Hudson Valley area and guests can support this event.

'Captivating' One Of A Kind Circus Acts Coming To The Hudson Valley

While Hudson Valley residents may wonder where different circus acts come from during the summer months, community members won't' have to guess with one organization.

A Hudson Valley owned circus camp and arts business is located in Westchester, NY. This woman owned and founded the organization started in 2012.

Hilary Sweeney, a circus artist founded Westchester Circus Arts. Sweeney has been an aerialist for more than 15 years. 

"She believes people of all ages should not have to “runaway” with the circus or be born into a circus family in order to benefit from the artform."

Sweeney created Westchester Circus Arts to provide a space where people can learn and experience the circus world and see how it can add to their lives.

What Does Westchester Circus Arts Provide In The Hudson Valley Area?

Westchester Circus Arts has several options for guests of all ages. They have pop up circus events, circus summer camps, school assembly shows and more.

Westchester Circus Arts is booking school, PTA fundraisers and camp tours as well. 

These events can be fun for the whole family with entertainment and activities in one location. For interested parties that already have a venue or location, Westchester Circus Arts can provide entertainment for an event.

A circus event is coming to the area! The Westchester Circus Arts, Under the Big Top event will take place at High Meadow School located in Stone Ridge, NY.

They shared,

"Experience the magic of the circus as skilled performers from Westchester Circus Arts take center stage at High Meadow School in Stone Ridge, NY."

Those who attend this event can expect to experience,

"breathtaking aerial feats, impressive acrobatics, and captivating circus acts that will delight audiences of all ages."

The Westchester Circus Arts will perform in Stone Ridge, NY on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 6:00pm. They will also perform at the same location on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 am and Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 2:00pm.

On Friday, August 2, 2024, the Westchester Circus Arts will return to Stone Ridge, NY at 6:00pm for another performance.
