One of my favorite chain stores is opening another location in the Hudson Valley! Honestly, I love visiting their locations to shop for things that I didn’t know that I needed and fun gifts.

From sunglasses to cards, t-shirts, yoga mats and snacks, it’s easy to find something for everyone at these stores. I love treating myself when I shop at these stores, they have fun candy options, self care products, cute athletic wear and more!

Woohoo, Five Below is opening another store in the Sullivan County, NY area. Monticello residents won’t have to travel far to shop at this popular, discount chain store.

On Facebook, Five Below included information about their grand opening celebration in Monticello at Thompson Square Mall.

They included that their grand opening event will take place at 4052 NY-42, Monticello, NY 12701. This will be a weekend long celebration of their opening, starting on June 20, 2025. Their website highlights that the start time of this celebration begins at 9:30am.

What Can Guests Get When They Attend The Opening Of Five Below?


This weekend-long celebration at Monticello’s Five Below will include activities along with the chance to win prizes.

On Saturday June 21, 2025, the first 100 people in line will receive a $10 gift card! They would also receive a free drawstring bag as well. Guests will be able to shop the store and discover their $1 items and others that go up to $5.

What Other Five Below Stores Are In The Hudson Valley?


In addition to the newest Five Below in Sullivan County, shoppers can also head to other counties to shop there. 

In Ulster County, Five Below moved and is now located at 1165 Ulster Ave in Kingston. In Dutchess County, there's Five Below located at 2001 South Road in Poughkeepsie. Also, in Orange County, shoppers can visit Five Below at the Galleria at Crystal Run Mall at 1N Galleria Drive. 

There’s a Five Below location in Monroe as well, it’s located at 128 Bailey Farm Rd.
