Recently, one of the newest monuments memorializing the Woodstock Festival of 1969 arrived in Sullivan County, NY. The Sullivan County, NY Dove Trail is a collection of 50 sculptures of beautiful doves which are located all throughout the county.
These doves are hand painted by professional and local artists from the area, each one is truly inspired by the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival.
Kim Simons is a local artist who created a beautiful, bright and fun Dove. This new dove is located at Prestige Towing & Recovery in Liberty. Simon's newest addition would be Dove #73 in Sullivan County, NY along The Dove Trail.

Sullivan County Catskills shared information about bridgework in Harris, NY. They also explained that The Sullivan County Division of Public Works would be working on local roads as of Monday, April 8, 2024.
The work will take place on County Bridge 333 on County Road 174. This road can also be known as Old Route 17 which is located in the Town of Thompson.

This step is something new that they are doing to prevent Sullivan County, NY from cyber attacks.

On Thursday, April 22, 2024 Sullivan County, NY was the first in New York State to begin using the New York State Security Operations Center which is also known as NYSSOC.
NYSSOC assists with detecting cyber threats, attacks and also responds to these issues. It allows the state to monitor for cyber threats with a goal of preventing them and improving responses to incidents.
This is done 365 days a year and 24/7. NYSSOC is located in Brooklyn, NY.
Sullivan County Government shared a statement from Joshua Potosek who is Sullivan County's Manager,
“This achievement marks a pivotal moment in bolstering the County and State cyber defense infrastructure and underscores Sullivan County's commitment to safeguarding its citizens and digital assets".
