A Kingston man, who fled New York State after rape allegations, has plead guilty to sexual conduct against a child under the age of 11, including one act of sexual intercourse.

According to the Ulster County District Attorney's office, 36-year-old Antelmo Solis Perez plead guilty to 1st-degree sexual conduct against a child.  The defendant was accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a child who was under than eleven years, numerous times. One act included sexual intercourse.

The incident was reported in Kingston in May. However Perez wasn't arrested until June. Following the rape allegation, Perez fled New York. He was found and arrested in Delaware by the United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.

The defendant is scheduled to be sentenced on January 29, 2016.
