The founder of Orange County Choppers honored a Hudson Valley police department.

On Wednesday, June 21, members of the Town of Lloyd Police Department met up with Paul Teutel Sr., the founder of Orange County Choppers, to provide O.C.C. with a Town of Lloyd Police Department Patch.

“Our agency's patch will hang on the wall behind the 911 Tribute Chopper alongside several hundred Police, Fire and EMT patches that have been donated to Orange County Choppers,” the Town of Lloyd Police Department said in a Facebook post.

The custom-made chopper was built in 2011 as a tribute to the reconstruction of the World Trade Center.

“I’ve built some incredible bikes to commemorate events, but few have the significance and meaning of this one,” Teutul said to the New York Post after he debuted the motorcycle at Ground Zero in 2011.
