An alleged Hudson Valley drug dealer was arrested after he was found with a host of drugs in his car.

On Tuesday, New York State Police from Wappinger arrested 31-year-old Anthony A. Haylett of Poughkeepsie for criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, both class A misdemeanors.

Troopers responded to Orchard Street to assist the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department with a domestic incident inside a car around 2 p.m.

While interviewing the occupants of a 2010 Mercedes-Benz S550, multiple glassine envelopes used to package heroin were observed in plain view, police say.

Authorities later discovered Haylett was in possession of approximately 3.5 grams of crack cocaine, 0.51 grams of heroin, 2 grams of Suboxone, scales, plastic packaging bags, a box of glassine envelopes and a glass pipe used to smoke crack cocaine, according to New York State Police.

Haylett was arraigned before the town of Wappinger Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
