Richard Gere Filming New Movie in the Hudson Valley

Richard Gere along with several other well known Hollywood actors and actresses were seen filming movies in the Hudson Valley this week.

Lohud reports Gere was seen in Yonkers on the set of his new movie The Three Christs of Ypsilanti. He plays a doctor treating three schizophrenic patients who are convinced they are Jesus. His co-star is none other than Julianna Margulies, who you may recognize from her recent work on The Good Wife. Gere is a resident of Bedford in Westchester County.

Maura Tierney's character on Newsradio was one of my favorites. She's gone on to have a successful career in tv and film, she was spotted in Tappan on the set of Showtime's The Affair. Actor Joshua Jackson was not seen, but Dominic West was. The Affair is set for a November 20th premiere. Tierney won a Golden Globe earlier this year for Best Supporting Actress.
