So what happens when the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park opens a new restaurant? "Fancy Brandi" has to check it out.

The food blogs and Facebook are all a buzz with the list of the top 50 restaurants in the world, but they left one off!

No mystery that I love food and wine, did I mention I love food? How I missed this restaurant?

March and November, I look forward to, because of restaurant week (which ends up being more than a week). Restaurants through out the Hudson Valley will be serving up special three course price fixed meals that showcase "their wares". I wait for this list to come out, who will be participating, will they be offering lunch or just dinner...

I am beginning to realize that everyone has their winter rituals, more so their snow removal rituals. I have been told by many a guy that before they go to shovel their driveway they will put beer in the snow to get it cold, and that it is the ‘perfect’ temperature by the time they have finished, so they can open it when they are done, almost as if it is their reward for shoveling...
