Apple rolled out their latest iOS update in the beginning of November. The 11.1 iOS update gave iPhone users new emoji options as well as some much needed bug fixes.

Unfortunately, the laws of the universe apply to technology. Fixing one problem has a tendency to create another.

The latest bug was widely noticeable and confused iPhone users as well as social media members when the characters A [?] started showing up in a substantial amount of internet postings. The first time people noticed it they deciphered what the original poster was trying to say and just moved on. After a few days it was becoming a distracting eyesore but Apple took notice and got to work.

The release of iOS update 11.1.1 fixed this bug which would auto-correct a lower case "i" with A [?]. If you prefer not to manually fix your auto-correct you can download the latest update from your iPhone's settings menu.
