Award Winning Bakery Re-Opens In Hyde Park

The Apple Pie Bakery located in Hyde Park at The Culinary Institute of America was closed temporarily for renovations. As of January 16th, they are reopened.  The new design will catch the eye of all patrons who walk through the door.

This cafe is run by culinary students and has been awarded multiple times by Hudson Valley Magazine, most notably "Best Dessert" & "Best Lunch-Spot." Given their location, it's an ideal spot to stop for a bite to eat for sight seeing days that may be spent at Vanderbilt Mansion or The Walkway Over The Hudson.

All food is prepped and served by students pursuing careers in the baking industry and this cafe provides the opportunity to see these rising culinary artists in action. Take-out is also available for that quick meal on the way to work. They are open Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 6pm. More information can be found on their website by clicking here.
