As Bono summarized his 2014 in a tantalizing 6,000 word post on U2.com the frontman reveled he may never play guitar again. It appears the recovery process from his November 2014 bike accident is going as easy as the singer had hopped.

"Recovery has been more difficult than I thought," ... "As I write this, it is not clear that I will ever play guitar again. The band have reminded me that neither they nor Western civilization are depending on this. I personally would very much miss fingering the frets of my green Irish falcon or my (RED) Gretsch."

Bono suffered numerous serious injuries from the cash which resulted in metal plates being inserted into the U2ers elbow, over a dozen metal screws and hours of surgery.

"The consequences of this freak accident are significant enough that I will have to concentrate hard to be ready for the U2 tour in fitness terms," added the singer. "As a result I have cancelled every public appearance and decided this missive is all the communication I can manage for the first half of 2015, beyond muttering and singing to myself of course."

Hopefully the frontman gets the rest and recovery he needs. Although the last album certainly sounded like it had devastating injuries I still wouldn't wish harm. After all he is Bono! Best of luck Bono and heal well!
