Comedian Louie Anderson Performs The Bardavon In March

Comedy legend Louie Anderson will be making a stop in Poughkeepsie on his upcoming tour at The Bardavon. He's a three-time Emmy Award winner and Comedy Central name him one of the '100 Greatest Comedians of All-Time'. He's best known for his hilarious stand-up routines and can currently be found on the FX series Baskets alongside Zach Galifianakis playing family matriarch Mrs. Baskets.

Tickets are on sale now for the Sunday, March 18th 7 PM show. Anderson's career has spanned more than 30 years and is still going strong. Here's a look at Louie from last summer on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

I can remember as a 10-year-old stumbling onto an HBO special of Louie's that I definitely shouldn't have been watching. I didn't understand all the jokes, but I knew I was watching a very funny man.
