Coney Island On Tap an Epic Day Trip for Beer Fans

Calling all beer enthusiasts: summer fun and microbrews in an iconic New York spot beckons you. Coney Island On Tap takes over MCU Park, the home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, on Saturday, July 12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

I was a beerfest virgin until taking a trip with the Townsquare Media - Hudson Valley, NY team to Tap New York in Hunter Mountain in April. The day was a blast with new friends, great food and an assortment of high quality microbrews. Replaying that day along the beach in warmer weather? Sign me up.

Coney Island is only a couple hours drive from Poughkeepsie, and spending the afternoon among 60 of America's best craft breweries is going to be a summer highlight.

In addition to unlimited beer sampling, Coney Island on Tap will feature live music, food and great vendors.

General admission costs $40 in advance and $50 at the door and includes a souvenir tasting glass. VIP Rooftop Deck Admission costs $75 and will get you exclusive access to the private rooftop deck featuring views of Coney Island and its iconic boardwalk. VIP access also gives you access to signature beers not available on the main floor, as well as a $10 food voucher.
