Cover Songs: Before And After

I'm a huge fan of cover songs. I've always loved it when an artist can give a different artists work a new spin, a different perspective.

My first radio show in college was all covers, acoustics and remixes. Love'em.

So, I figured I'd share the love with you guys.

I'm going to be trying something new. Cover Songs: Before and After.

So, let's kick this pig with something crazy different!

"Sleepwalking" is a song originally from Bring Me The Horizon. They're a screamo/metalcore band from England. But that's really doing them an injustice. They're pretty brilliant. They're not just about screaming for screaming's sake. There's a ton of emotion and lots of energy in their work. Obviously, I'm a big fan.

The band covering their song is "This Wild Life". They're 2 former guys from pop-punk bands, who went almost completely acoustic all the time, with a CRAZY high falsetto from the lead singer. Their version of the song is really emotional as well, but in an entirely different way.
