Sarah here! Your friendly mid-day host at the best New Rock Alternative Station around..a.k.a WRRV. Originally from Florida I made the crazy move to NY over a decade ago and never looked back. Graduating from Marist College in 2007 I was fortunate enough to join the WRRV team as a weekend host...eventually earning my current and by far favorite spot. Outside the station I love, love, love my cats (yeah I'm a crazy cat lady), I love to travel the world but also love and appreciate all the Hudson Valley has to offer
I’m Simon and I host the WRRV afternoon show weekdays 3-7. I was born and raised outside of Hartford and moved to Poughkeepsie to go to Marist. After that, I started a band and got a job here at station. Things I'm into: Festivals, drum solos and grilled cheese. Things I'm not into: Polka, close talkers and burnt grilled cheese. Top 3 music fests to look forward to every year: Mountain Jam, Gathering of the Vibes and Bonnaroo. Sports teams: Bears, Red Sox, Golden State Warriors
Born and raised in the wilds of Staten Island, I made my way to WRRV way the hell back in 2004. I left for the big city, and then magically my radio station went under. I went to the wild west of internet radio, and magically my company went under. So I decided to chill a little bit. Then I had a kid. Now I’M BACK! Hang with me every weeknight from 7 to Midnight! Send me email or connect with me on Facebook and Twitter!
Hey there!!! Brandi Hunter here! Most of you know that I have a passion for radio & getting information, like snow closings and (TIME CHANGES!!!) to everyone! This is second only to my passion for my beloved Mini Cooper. Occasionally people might refer to me as “Fancy Brandi” for because I L-O-V-E food and wine. I would like to think that I bring a bit of my own twisted sense of humor and quick wit to everyone’s Hudson Valley morning. I do believe that I have been working in radio “since I can remember days” from the my beginning days in promotions, to now writing news copy, commercials, and hosting and co-hosting my own shows, never fear, I always bring “ready for anything positive attitude” and when that doesn’t influence friends and co-workers, I have an electric griddle in my office to make breakfast for everyone.
