Dutchess County Police Investigate String of Car Break-Ins

Dutchess County Police are investigating and seeking help from local residents after a number of parked cars were recently broken into.

On Sunday, East Fishkill Police responded to a string of larcenies from parked cars at the East Fishkill Soccer Complex on Route 52. Many of the cars were not locked.

Police are reminding everyone to lock their cars and hide any valuables inside the parked vehicles.

While investigating the thefts and interviewing witnesses, police discovered a number of cars were also recently broken into in Fishkill and Beacon.

Officials say it’s likely the thefts in Fishkill and Beacon are related to the larcenies in East Fishkill.
