Lydia Adams Davis, a full-voiced singer called The Songbird of the Hudson by the Times Herald Record, is known for her wry, improvisational songs. Her singing invites lively participation.

Lydia is an avid reader of the temperament of the audience and is known for making up songs on the spot. She presents Sign and Sing in ASL and Songs of the Suffragists, and spirited arts education theatrical pieces in libraries and schools throughout the region. Lydia produces Women's Work at the Howland Cultural Center every April.
