Blood Drive for Stephanie Uzee — Kingston

Some of you know Stephanie Uzee as a mother. Some of you know her as a co-worker, an old friend, a dear friend, a daughter, a wife…the list could go on for pages. Some of you don’t know her at all. Whatever your relationship may be to Stephanie, we are asking for your support to help see her out of a difficult time and to continue to do what she has done so well for many years, which is give back to the community.

For those of you who may not be aware, Stephanie was diagnosed with multiple cancers earlier this year. She has been at Albany Medical Center for at least the past 40 days receiving treatment. Neuropathy has taken its toll on her body and currently she is unable to move from the waist down. This neuropathy is continuing to spread. Stephanie is in constant need of blood and platelets on a daily basis. This is where you come in.

Stephanie and her family need all of us to come out and show our support. We need to get the word out and get some blood donations. We are counting on all of you to help us reach our goal. Platelets donations are definitely needed. To schedule an appointment in advance, you should call The New York Blood Center at 1-800-933-2566 to set up a time at their Kingston location. The center is open 1-8 the same day as the drive. Make sure to book your appointment using the code #67838. The center is located at 51 Albany Avenue.

We've had so many questions about taking donations for Stephanie and her family. All support is greatly appreciated and all types of donations are welcome and needed (Gift Cards for groceries, Gas Cards, etc), cash and checks (payable to Stephanie Uzee) can be mailed to:
