TheaterSounds’ next production is AN ACCIDENT by Lydia Stryk. A woman is run over and critically injured. The driver appears at her bedside. Her recovery is mirrored by the man's struggle with his guilt and responsibility. Introspective and at times humorous, Stryk’s play shows us that there are encounters in life that take us somewhere we have never been and never were meant to go. One critic described the work as "visceral and emotional…seething with cynical humor.. and uncompromisingly human.” The reading will take place Saturday, April 22 at The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Catskills, 320 Sawkill Road in Kingston.
