Fall for Art, a popular juried art show, sale and cocktail fundraiser, hosted by the Jewish Federation of Ulster County, celebrates its 21st Annual event on Thursday, September 7th from 5:00-9:00pm at The Chateau, 240 Boulevard in Kingston, NY. Thirty talented area artists representing a wide range of artistic media (including: painting, pottery, photography, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood, mixed media and illustration) will be present to sell and showcase their work. The annual event supports area not-for-profit organizations including the Hudson Valley Food Bank, Family of Woodstock, CASA, People’s Place, Angel Food East, Jewish Family Services, and area synagogues, among others. Each year a special recipient is selected, and for 2017, the Kingston Library has been invited to select $1,000 worth of artwork from the show to enhance their Franklin Street facility. Reservations for the September 7thevent are $45 in advance or $50 at the door and will be available beginning in August at www.fallforart.org and at the Federation office at One Albany Avenue, Suite G-10 (the Governor Clinton building) on Broadway in Kingston, NY. There is still time to become a Fall for Art Sponsor, Friend or Patron as well and to be listed in the event booklet.
