TheaterSounds resumes its 15th season with a staged reading of “Our Mother’s Brief Affair,” a play of razor-sharp wit and extraordinary insight by TONY Award winner Richard Greenberg. Anna, fighting for a legacy she can be proud of, confesses an affair in her past that might resonate beyond the family. Nicola Sheara, appearing courtesy of Actors Equity Association, performs the leading role. The reading takes place at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Catskills on Saturday, September 24, at 7:30 pm. Admission is by donation. Please note that Sawkill Road is closed between Washington Avenue and our venue. Take Route 209 to the Sawkill Road exit, go South 1-1/2 miles, and turn left at the UUCC entrance.
