HERoes in Deed seeks to carry on the spirit of LTC Jaimie E. Leonard's life and service to her country. Jaimie was a West Point graduate who was killed during her deployment to Afghanistan last June. She grew up in Warwick, New York and loved to run for health and to support local charitable events. This inaugural year, we will host both a 5K and a Kids Run in her honor. With enough support, we hope to be able to fund two scholarships for students at Warwick Valley High School as well as support the military community in ways that mattered to Jaimie. In the future, we plan to expand the HERo Run to include more running choices.
