Lee began her studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia at age 11, and continued her studies at Yale University, earning both a Master of Music degree and an Artist Diploma. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Peabody Conservatory of John Hopkins University.
Since her debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra at age 16, Lee has been recognized for her eloquent and virtuosic performances as a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed throughout the U.S., in Europe and across Asia, appearing at venues such as Steinway Hall in New York, Academy of Music, Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, the Basilica San Pietro in Italy, and the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. She has also performed at the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Muhlenberg College Piano Series, Hillman Performing Arts Center, Texas International Piano Festival and China Conservatory. Ms. Lee performs a diverse repertoire that incorporates both familiar works, and those by contemporary composers. She is frequently invited to give outreach concerts and Masterclasses in the U.S. and abroad, and currently serves on the faculty at the Peabody Preparatory of the Johns Hopkins University and Washington College.
All performances in the Sunset Concert Series begin at 8 p.m., and as in past years, each concert will be followed by a specialty dessert reception. The Shandelee Music Festival Sunset Concert Pavilion is located at 442 J. Young Road, Livingston Manor.
