Bird-On-A-Cliff’ Theater Company is celebrating its 20th Anniversary by staging a unique adaptation of “The Wizard of Oz.” With text by Jerry James and David Aston-Reese and fantastical costumes by Bob Lavaggi, an ensemble of seven actors breathes new life into the magical story of a girl lost the strange land of Oz at 5 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from August 14-September 6 at Woodstock’s outdoor Elizabethan theatre.
The outdoor theatre is located at 45 Comeau Drive in Woodstock. Show time is 5pm. Admission is free (donations are accepted); folding chairs or blankets are suggested. Bring the family. Bring a picnic.
