Town of Wappinger Community kicks off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10 (rain date September 11) with the parade down Myers Corners Road. With free rides for the kids, a Lip Sync Battle, pie eating and pie baking contest, there is something for everyone. There will be delicious treats baked by the Senior Center members and there will be craft, food and information booths. The day winds up with a performance by the Southern Dutchess Concert Band leading us into a great fireworks display by Legion Fireworks. We are looking for folks who are interested in joining the parade, opening a vendor booth, or signing up for our contests.
