Great googely moogely.

20th Century Fox just gave us a taste of the new "Hitman" movie coming out. I REALLY wanted to like the original with Timothy Olyphant, but it's currently sitting at a 57% on Rotten Tomatoes, with a critics score of 14%.

It was kinda wacky, the plot didn't really make the most sense, but I'm always a fan of the uber-bad guy growing a heart and trying to make the situation right. It was full of fun fight scenes and maybe a little too much gore, but I always manage to keep the movie on when I run across it on cable.

With the relaunch of the series, it looks like Fox is putting the Agent firmly on the bad guy side, with Zachary Quinto tasked with tracking him down. In the trailer, there's the Agent threatening a government official in a cell, moving his wrist fast enough to get his chain cut by a bullet, a helicopter getting stuck in a building and shredding an office and marines sucked into a jet engine in what I can only assume is a government test facility. Game on.

The least interesting part of the trailer was Quinto, which is nice because all I've seen of him lately is him smacking a little kid on a new tv show.

Put me firmly in the "I'm DEFINITELY going to see this in theaters" camp.
