FYE Store Making a Comeback in the Hudson Valley

It looks like a store that many believed to no longer exist is returning to Poughkeepsie.

Do remember going to FYE? These stores were awesome for movie, music and pop culture fans. If I remember correctly they were one of the first brick and mortar stores to sell used DVD's as well. I spent a lot of time browsing these stores at the mall when I was growing up. I thought they were gone forever.

Not only s FYE still around but it appears that they are opening a new location in Poughkeepsie, New York.

It looks like FYE is returning to the Hudson Valley.

New FYE in Poughkeepsie, New York?

According to Yelp there was once an FYE store located at 790 South Road in Poughkeepsie but it has been closed for years. There was also an FYE inside the Newburgh mall but that has also been reportedly closed. It looks like the only remaining FYE store near the Hudson Valley is in Danbury and Albany.

We are not sure when this location will be officially opening but it does look like they have already begun loading in merchandise. They may be open by the end of October.
