The WRRV Morning Grind is broadcasting live this Friday the 13th and we're giving away a bunch of pumpkins and tickets to some awesome local events.

I have worked in radio for almost 10 years now. One of my favorite things about the job is that every day is completely different and brings new challenges. Things change quickly and you have to adapt to those changes on the spot. There's a fun element of surprise that comes every time you crack that microphone.

That being said, it does get kind of boring once and a while. It's good to get out once and a while.

The WRRV Morning Grind is getting out this Friday.

We'll be broadcasting live from the Dunkin' at 1491 Route 9 in Wappingers Falls from 6am to 10am. We're not just broadcasting live. We're bringing a pumpkin patch with us. Not an entire pumpkin patch but we'll be giving away 50 pumpkins from Barton Orchards to anyone that wants one for free while supplies last. When you grab a pumpkin you will also get a tickets to WRRV's Boo Ball which is a huge Halloween party coming to the MJN Convention Center at the end of the month. That's not all. The free pumpkin also come with tickets to Peace, Love and Pumpkins. You can see some awesomely carved pumpkin displays at Bethel Woods for some inspiration.

This all goes down in just a few days. Stop by, grab a coffee from Dunkin' and a Pumpkin from us.
