Hearthstone Is Launching New Expansion Series

So Hearthstone is out to make even more money, and it doing it the best way possible. They're throwing an expansion set of cards in the last month of the year, named "Mean Streets of Gadgetzan".

There's a whole new level of symmetry to contend with when it comes to this pack. Essentially, the 9 heroes are lumped into 3 different groups, or "Gangs". Since these cards are grouped because of similarities, they will actually share some cards amongst their gangs.

Hearthstone changed formats a few months ago, going with a "Standard" deck, which consists of all basic, classic and current expansions. The "Wild" format is everything all at once, free for all. When a new year or expansion rolls around, it's supposed to rotate out the oldest expansion or adventure. However, from what I'm led to believe, since Gadgetzan is coming out at the end of the year, it will not rotate out Black Rock Mountain.

It's very complicated.

When the new expansion hits, why not try a Fireside Gathering and play the new cards against other players in person. The one closest to Poughkeepsie is in Franklin, NJ. It's a little bit of a drive, but emoting on Hearthstone is a lot more fun in person.
