Kevin James is bringing his standup act to the Hudson Valley.

King of Queens was an insanely popular sitcom that lasted 9 seasons. The show made Kevin James a household name. Many sitcom stars have a hard time breaking the role of their famous character but James has been able to have a steady acting career even 16 years after the end of King of Queens. Kevin James may be forever known to some as the every man, Doug Heffernan but since the end of the series he has become most known for his work with Adam Sandler and his productions including Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Grown Ups, Zookeeper, Here Comes the Boom and Hotel Transylvania.

It looks like James has been getting back on stage and back to his stand-up comedy roots. He may be the star of Kevin Can Wait but we can't wait to see him perform live here in the Hudson Valley. James is performing live at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester this weekend. You can get your tickets here.

If you miss him this weekend don't worry he will be back soon. James returns to New York for another performance on November 26.
